Development of Combined Methods Using Non-Destructive Test Methods to Determine the In-Place Strength of High-Strength Concretes

This study aims to develop combined methods with dual and triple use of different non-destructive test (NDT) examine the effectiveness these methods. For this purpose, nine high-strength concrete series were produced, destructive NDT applied samples on 3rd 90th days. Surface hardness, ultrasonic pulse velocity, penetration resistance considered from Analyses made response surface method using measurements compressive strength values obtained, four mathematical models developed. Models 1, 2, 3 designed methods, model 4 was use. The absolute relative deviation for all developed models’ early final-age strengths below 10%. It is great importance determine quality high accuracy practicality, especially in places like Elazig, where there are thousands newly constructed buildings since Sivrice-Elazig earthquake, rapid production required. Therefore, it thought that determining without damaging building element will provide benefits terms time, labor, cost.
